Our Vacation!

I love going to The Smoky Mountains. It's one of my favorite places to visit. It would be a choice for me someday for us to move there. It is so peaceful in the mountains. The streams are so pretty. This time we went camping in a rustic cabin. It had no running water and no bathroom. There was a place a little ways up the road where we went to the bathroom and showered. We had a wonderful time together. We went to one dinner show and the aquarium. The aquarium was part of Connor's birthday gift. He loves fish. I am glad to be home and in my own soft bed again. I thank the Lord for protecting us and letting us have a nice time. He blesses us so much. It is so awesome to see his creation.

This is what we have been doing. We are working on a new cd. Hopefully it will be done by  July. We are leaving for vacation tomorrow so I'm headed to bed. Hope all have a wonderful week.

Mother's Day 2012

I just wanted to let those of you know that I do read your blogs. Somehow I am not able to leave comments anymore. I'm not sure why yet so I will be looking into it. Just wanted to let you know that. I enjoy reading everyones blogs.

My New Bedroom.

I know that i posted pictures of my room that was done. Well... since we decided to live our life without worrying about what we are going to do, we decided to do our room how we wanted it. It was alot of hard work. I white washed the walls. It was rather messy. Bit I love how it turned out. And it didn't cost very much. Since we used leuon (which is one big sheet of underlayment) we cut it into the size we wanted. My Mom gave me the new quilt. It has little pink roses on the bottom. The curtain I got at a yard sale for 1.00. The other things I already had. It is very simple and clean. I love the cottage look. I also have a chandler my husband bought for me.(on sale). It is very pretty. It will be hung when my in laws come home. My husbands not sure exactly how to do that. He did all the wood with the help of our sons. I painted it. I thank God that he gives us the desires of our hearts. And also provides the money we need to do it. I still would love to move to the country but I will be content here.  We are still praying about Florida. well just see what God's will is. We are not stopping our lives. I plan to plant a garden in a couple of weeks. A family in our church has offered us a place to plant it. It is all tilled and ready. I will share when its all done. I am so thankful God's knows I like having a garden and he allowed us too again this year. The guy offered it to us without us even asking. God is good to us. I also got to meet some new friends this week. And we had a plant exchange. I got some really cool things. They are starts and I planted them. No pictures yet cause it is raining outside right now.  Hopefully soon. well hope all have a wonderful rest of the week.

I'm still here!!

I haven't forgotten about my blog. I have had alot on my mind and praying alot about our future. I am not really thinking that Florida is the place for us. I am not ruling it out if thats what God want , but just doesn't feel right. We are still praying about it. In the mean time I am living my life like I'm not moving. I am taking it one day at a time. Last year when our house was for sale I fretted and worried about it all the time. And didn't live life. I am not doing that this time. I am planting a garden and have repainted my living room. I am adding a little Shabby Chic to my home. It is still very down to earth. I have not bought anything to do this just painted and redone stuff. I also bought some flowers. Didn't know it was going to get cold again. Also we hung up our swing and we have been enjoying nights relaxing on the porch. We also have been offered two churches in Indiana. If we feel like either one of them is right we will be able to stay in our house. Both of them are close by. I am not scared about moving out of state or anything. I am just concerned about a few things.So please help us to pray we make the right decision. Here are a few pictures of our home.
